Sunday October 15st 2017 – Pastor Jason restarts the series based on Second Epistle of Peter. Pastor covers the entire Chapter 2. This chapter gives us warning about false teaching and doctrine and also shows that God will judge those who perpetrate these acts. Sodom and Gomorrah is given as an example of God’s judgment and the rescue of Lot. Although rescued, Lot’s family suffered because they chose to live so close to Sodom. The pastor makes this teaching practical by asking the congregation to consider where we have pitched our tents in this world of temptations. If you are too close to “Sodom’s Gate”, then ask God to rescue you and your family.
